Enrollment Letter
Dear Parents,
Thank you for considering Liberty Christian School. Our purpose is to support your efforts to train your children in the “way they should go” (Prov. 22:6). Since we believe that God has a unique purpose and plan for your children, we seek to provide a disciplined yet loving environment in which they can grow and can fulfill that purpose. At LCS, we challenge students to grow in four particular ways: academically, spiritually, socially, and physically. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ exemplified these four areas as he “increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man” (Lu.2:52). Our desire is to help your child to increase in the following ways:
1. Wisdom – Our academics not only challenge the intellect but teach students to apply their knowledge to life’s issues. This gives them a greater appreciation of how and why God made everything and of their role in this world. Our teachers teach with a Christian worldview, using a curriculum that is proven to prepare students for higher education and a productive life.
2. Stature – Our athletic and fine arts programs promote a healthy attitude toward self. The discipline and character developed will produce confidence and leadership for the students’ adult lives.
3. Favor with God – Our biblical training will point students to a stronger relationship with the Lord. A biblical view of a loving God will be presented not only in chapel and in Bible class, but in all subjects. Students are taught and encouraged to have a regular prayer and devotional time that will produce a fruitful Christian life.
4. Favor with man – When we have a healthy relationship with the Lord and understand His love for us, we can have a favorable relationship with others. Our goal for our students is that they would love their neighbor as themselves. This includes treating one another with respect. While none of us will be perfect, we strive to be like Christ in our dealings with others.
If this is the type of education you desire, please complete the enrollment application online. We will then schedule an interview with you and your child, and we will give your child an entrance test. You will be notified of admission status within a week.
We look forward to partnering with you in the education of your children.
Sincerely,
Kyler Ketner, School Administrator
Tim Forgy, Middle School Principal
Kristen Green, Elementary Principal

Curriculum fees will be refunded only if the student is not accepted by the school. I give Liberty Christian School permission for my child to take part in all school activities, including bus trips, sports activities, and school-sponsored trips away from the school premises. I also believe that discipline is necessary for the welfare of each student as well as for the entire school. I give permission to my child’s teacher and/or other agents of the school to make and enforce classroom regulations in a manner consistent with Christian principles and discipline set forth in the Scriptures.
5. The administration has full responsibility for placing children academically. Cooperation is expected in (a) prompt payment of tuition, (b) practical help, (c) faithful prayer, (d) attendance at Parent- Teacher Fellowships, (e) special gifts, and (f) fundraising projects since tuition does not cover the actual cost of educating your child. The school reserves the right to dismiss any student who does not respect its spiritual standards and cooperate in the education process or fails to comply with the standards of conduct and attitudes established by the school. Parents and students of Liberty Christian School are encouraged to faithfully attend a Bible-believing church weekly.
6. ATTENDANCE AT LIBERTY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL IS A PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT!
7. Liberty Christian School holds that the Bible is the infallible, divine Word of God and that salvation by faith in Christ is the initial step in the Christian life. There is adequate Biblical basis for the idea of spiritual growth into the image of Christ (Romans 8:29) which is the work of the Holy Spirit (II Corinthians 3:18). This growth begins with the initial act of saving faith and continues throughout life. The Holy Spirit makes the Christian conscious of the Biblical demands for a holy life which fulfills both God’s moral law and high law of love (Matthew 22:37-39; Romans 13:8-10; Galatians 5:14). The result is a life consecrated unto God and separated from the world.
8. Liberty Christian School must, therefore, provide an environment conducive to the spiritual growth and development of young people who are not yet mature Christians. A standard of conduct based on the following Biblical imperatives is necessary to provide such an environment. All of the activities of the Christian must be subordinated to the glory of God who indwells in us (I Corinthians 8:9, 12-13, 10:32). The Christian will endeavor to avoid practices which cause the loss of sensibility to the spiritual needs of the world and loss of the Christian’s physical, mental, or spiritual well-being (I Corinthians 9:27).
